3 more factories completed their CAPs of Alliance, 312 is the final number so far

Washim Mia, Staff Correspondent: The Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety (Alliance) announced today that three more new factories of Bangladesh have been added to the list of completing all material components outlined in their Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and the number is stood up to 312. The newly included factories are Ananta Denim Technology Limited, NATco Global Packaging Dhaka Limited & Checkpoint Systems Bangladesh Limited.

Alliance confirmed this news through the social media today.

Alliance said, 87% of all required factory remediation has been completed across all the factories.

The Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety, also known as “the Alliance” or AFBWS, is a group of 28 major global retailers formed to develop and launch the Bangladesh Worker Safety Initiative, a binding, five-year undertaking with the intent of improving safety in Bangladeshi ready-made garment (RMG) factories.
