A comprehensive 5-day (40-hour) training course on ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) Auditor/Lead Auditor was conducted from 25 July to 29 July at Wisdom Campus, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The training was delivered through both in-person and virtual platforms, allowing wider participation and accessibility.
This intensive course was organized by Sustainable Management System Inc., a US-based organization specializing in audits, inspections, and professional training.
The training was led by Mr. Abdul Alim, a globally recognized expert in management systems and the President & CEO of Sustainable Management System Inc. A total of 17 participants took part in the session.
Throughout the training, Mr. Alim provided in-depth insights into the ISO 14001:2015 standard, focusing on EMS requirements, implementation strategies, and auditing techniques. He emphasized the role of EMS in achieving organizational environmental goals through systematic review, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
The course was designed to be interactive and engaging, featuring PowerPoint presentations, practical exercises, fun activities, open discussions, and Q&A sessions. The training concluded with a final evaluation exam to assess participants’ understanding of the content.
This initiative reflects a growing commitment to environmental responsibility and capacity-building in management systems among professionals in Bangladesh and beyond.
