Prince Garments’ chairman dies of coronavirus

Desk Report: Mohammad Taslim Akhter, chairman of Prince Garments (Pvt) Ltd died of coronavirus around 3pm on Thursday. He was diagnosed with Covid-19 on Wednesday and was undergoing treatment at the capital’s Kuwait Bangladesh Friendship Hospital.

 

Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) President Rubana Huq confirmed the matter.

So far 21 people have died from the virus in Bangladesh and 330 are infected with it.
