Desk Report: Texstream Fashion Ltd. once again upheld its tradition of recognizing excellence by organizing the “Best Workers–2026 & Year Closing Program” in a grand and festive manner. The program was arranged under the leadership of Mr. Miraj Howlader (Manager, Cutting) and presided over by the factory’s General Manager, Haji Monjurul Islam.

The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Md. Mominul Islam Bhuiyan (PPM), Superintendent of Police, Industrial Zone Police, Dhaka-1. Owners of neighboring factories, including Haji Md. Manik Mia, along with local dignitaries and residents, attended the program as special guests.

In his address, the Chief Guest congratulated Texstream Fashion Ltd. on successfully organizing the “Best Workers–2026” and “Year Closing & Managers’ Party–2026.” He emphasized that regular initiatives like this in every factory would help develop skilled, disciplined, and responsible workers, contributing positively to the industrial sector.

Chief Guest’s Remarks – Mr. Md. Mominul Islam Bhuiyan (PPM):
“Texstream Fashion Ltd. is a high-quality factory, and I did not observe any dissatisfaction among the workers. The Bangladesh Industrial Police always stand beside workers and remain available 24/7 to ensure their safety and welfare. If such programs continue across factories, they will play a vital role in building skilled, dedicated, and disciplined workers.”

President’s Address – Haji Monjurul Islam (General Manager):
Haji Monjurul Islam highlighted the importance of taking Bangladesh’s workforce to the global stage, stating that ‘Made in Bangladesh’ is not only a label but a source of pride, inspiration, and global identity. He extended heartfelt New Year greetings for 2026 to all hardworking workers who make this achievement possible.

He further noted that many workers in the country remain comparatively less skilled, resulting in lower productivity despite sincere effort. This, in turn, affects fair compensation and overall financial well-being. He identified key challenges such as:

  • Lack of technical and technological skills

  • Limited access to modern machinery

  • Inadequate training opportunities and a healthy working environment

He also emphasized the need for personal initiative and self-development, reaffirming Texstream Fashion Ltd.’s commitment to transforming workers into skilled human resources.

“The greatest asset of our country is its people,” he said. “We must ensure opportunities for everyone to acquire multiple skills. We do not want to hear the word ‘unemployed.’ Whatever work is available, do it with dignity. Trust in Allah, work honestly, and remain dedicated—small efforts today will lead to great success tomorrow.”

To enhance worker skills, motivation, and engagement, the management plans to continue organizing competitive and skill-development programs regularly. The event earned widespread appreciation, and workers expressed strong interest in participating in similar programs every year.

The celebration also included Pitha Utsob, sports activities, cultural performances, the official year-closing ceremony for 2025, and a Managers’ Party. The workers enthusiastically enjoyed the festivities, making the program a memorable and successful occasion.
