Master Class on “Corporate Social Responsibility” Held at Southeast University

Fazlul Haque, Staff Correspondent : SR Asia Bangladesh facilitated three (3) days Master Class on “Corporate Social Responsibility” at SouthEast University Bangladesh at Business faculty from 6th April – 9th April 2016. Ms. Sumaya Rashid, Country Director of SR Asia Bangladesh facilitated the entire classes.

Ms. Sumaya said to to RMG Times Representative that Leading companies recognize the long-term value of integrating social responsibility into core business strategy. An emphasis in corporate social responsibility prepares students to lead sustainability and CSR efforts within a company and to become an effective change agent for positive social impact when they will start their professional career.

Mr. Shafiq R. Bhuiyan, The CSR Manager of Robi Axiata Ltd. presented CSR Practice of Robi Axiata at the final day of the course. Ms. Sumaya expressed her gratitude to Robi Axiata CSR Department.

One of the delegate Stated that The sessions was very helpful to know about the CSR activities and our responsibility to the society. It was a good lesson for them before they enter to the corporate sector.
