Honorable Ambassador of Republic of Germany Dr. Thomas Prinz, Fereal was present as chief guest while the President of BGMEA & the vice president of BKMEA as special guests, Academician & almost 300 guests from different factories, brand/buying house and sourcing agent were present. Mr. Md. Kamruzzaman, Regional chief, South East Asia, Hohenstein Textile Testing Institute wss the moderator of the seminar.

Prof. Dr. Stefan Mecheels, President & CEO, Hohenstein Textile Testing Institute GmbH & Co.KG delivered welcome speech and introduction of Hohenstein Institue. Dr. Stefan Drostle, Managing Director of Hohenstein presented Oeko-Tex Standard 100 a Green passport for textile while Mr. Jorg Diekmann, Director Hohenstein Textile Testing Institute GmbH & Co.KG discussed and presented the “Sustainable Textile Production” (Step by Oeko-Tex for MADE IN GREEN)

President of BGMEA Mr. Siddiqur Rahman stated in his speech with confidence that there are a lot of improvements already visible in the occupational health and safety of the workers in the RMG sector of Bangladesh. He said “Made in Bangladesh” will be the number one Apparel brand in the world.
