Fibre2Fashion: Cotton USA is set to discuss What’s New in Cotton and the latest industry innovations that could benefit businesses at the Premiere Vision Paris, in hall 6, H63. The global event for fashion professionals will be held from February 12-14, 2019, in France. Cotton Council International (CCI) is a non-profit trade association that promotes US cotton fibre.
Visitors to the event can learn how cotton microfibers make a big difference, and also get a sneak peak of the new US Cotton Trust Protocol, a tangible and transparent snapshot of US cotton growing practices and the gains in sustainability standards resulting from them, according to CCI.
“Sustainability and innovation are two standout benefits of US cotton. The What’s New in Cotton initiative lets us demonstrate our commitment to pushing the industry forward. We debuted this platform at Première Vision first and we’re looking forward to returning with even more exciting innovations,” CCI executive director Bruce Atherley said.
“We want this programme to be an inspiration to the textile industry, motivating new thinking and driving innovation. Our partners have developed remarkable technologies utilising US cotton and we look forward to sharing even more business-boosting opportunities at Premiere Vision,” Atherley added.
Visitors to the booth can also see how becoming a Cotton USA licensee can boost business. Quantitative consumer research proves the Cotton USA Mark is of high value to consumers and can drive both preference and higher prices.
