Staff Correspondent: With a vision of a world where workers, businesses, and communities thrive together, Social Accountability International (SAI) has been working along with their different training and capacity building programs. As part of it a 5 days long training on “SA 8000: Introduction and Basic Auditor Training Course” was held in Dhaka. The session started on 19 December 2018 and ended on 23 December 2018 with the evaluation exam.
This training, organized by Social Accountability Accreditation Services (SAAS) accredited United States of America based non-profit organization, Social Accountability International (SAI), participated by 18 delegates from different brands, buying houses, factories and audit companies.
Mr. Abdul Alim, Lead Trainer and Bangladesh representative for SAI conducted the training showing his class and elegant method of making all the participants understand in different segments of SA8000 standard and its’ requirements.
Mr. Abdul Alim said to the RMG Times, “The 5 days long training on SA 8000: Introduction and Basic Auditor Training Course has become very popular worldwide because after successfully completion, it provides an international recognition to conduct any type of social compliance audit in the organizations.”
