Myanmar’s Leading Textile & Garment Show Set for June 24-27 in Yangon

International Desk :  The 2016 Myanmar International Textile & Garment Industry Exhibition (MTG 2016), slated run June 24-27, will gather 110 exhibitors from 14 countries to display a broad range of their latest products and technologies at 320 booths in the Myanmar Event Park (MEP), once again serving as an important trading platform for textile companies from around the world.

Now in its fifth edition, the grand event is co-organized by Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd. and Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association (MGMA), and officially supported by the Republic of Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry (U.M.F.C.C.I.).  The show will see strong presence of major brands in the field from such countries and areas as Bangladesh, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Among them, Korea will set up a national pavilion to showcase a wide array of innovative products, hoping to effectively boost trade records.

Furthermore, quite a few leading international industrial associations are also highly supportive of the event, including Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI), Taiwan Sewing Machinery Association (TSMA), Korea Sewing Machinery Industrial Association (KOSMIA), and The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL).
