German trade union leaders meets BGMEA

Desk Report : A 12-member delegation of trade union leaders from Germany headed by Stefanie Nutzenberger, Member of the Federal Executive, Verdi called on BGMEA leaders on 26 October.

BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman and Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan were present at the meeting where discussion was held on different issues related to the RMG industry of Bangladesh, including achievements in ensuring workplace safety, planning of health insurance and social welfare activities of BGMEA for the garment workers.
