Texstream Fashion Ltd. Hosts Best Worker Competition-2025: A Grand Initiative for Workforce Excellence

In order to implement the slogan “আমরা শ্রমজীবি আমরাই দেশ গড়ার কারিগর”, Haji Monjurul Islam, General Manager of Texstream Fashion Ltd, took the initiative of organizing the Best Worker Competition-2025. Best Worker Competition-2025 was held with skilled workers from more than 100 factories. The Chief Guest of this competition was Md. Mominul Islam Bhuiyan  PPM, Police Superintendent of Industrial Police-1, and Haji Md. Manik Mia, Special Guest. Haji Monjurul Islam, General Manager of Texstream Fashion Ltd. other factories, and residents. The Chief Guest congratulated the best worker competition and expressed his opinion that if it continues in every factory, skilled and good workers will be developed.

Best Worker Competition-2025 was held with skilled workers from more than 100 factories.

The Best Worker Competition has been organized in 3 stages. Skilled workers from different factories are eligible to participate by filling out the participant form. The criteria for the competition are as follows :

First Round:  From Own Department/Factory Giving Mark/Number for his work, Written Knowledge test, Daily attendance, late, absent, leave, etc Last year (2024), Practical own Job Skilled Test (Basic/Normal), General knowledge for garments sector (quick question)

Second Round: Skilled test, Discipline/Responsibility/Load capacity, memory test, Extra skill (without work).

Final Round: Game, Quick Quiz. Special prizes and certificates were awarded to all final-round contestants, and the company provided special attractive prizes for the champion, runner-up, and second runner-up.

In this best worker competition, 10 people got the opportunity to participate in the final round after passing 3 stages from more than 100 skilled garment workers. The result is determined by adding the total numbers of the three rounds.

In addition, all the participants in the final round were given prizes along with international quality certificates from the Sustainable Management System Inc. Superintendent of Police Md. Mominul Islam Bhuiyan ppm congratulated the best labor competition and drew the attention of the management to all garment companies to hold the competition.

Police Superintendent, ‘s opinion: Such a competition is commendable. Through this competition, it is possible to develop skilled workers and establish good relations between the employer and the workers. He called for such a competition to be held in every factory.

General Manager’s opinion: Bangladesh has a large population and there is a shortage of workers and a shortage of skilled people. That is why we need skill development to make this large population skilled. If we can do skill development, then we can convert this manpower into a labor force. This is a big help for the development of our country, for the development of our country.

The competition was very exciting. It was appreciated by everyone. All the workers expressed their desire to participate in the competition. The management of various factories expressed their desire to hold it in their factories.
