SA8000 Internal Auditor Training Successfully Conducted in Dhaka

Dhaka, December 6-7, 2024 – Sustainable Management System Inc. organized a comprehensive two-day classroom session on the “Internal Auditor Training Course on SA8000 (Social Accountability)” at The Wisdom Campus in Uttara, Dhaka.

The training was facilitated by Mr. Abdul Alim, President and CEO of Sustainable Management System Inc., who is globally recognized as one of the most experienced experts on SA8000.

A total of 17 participants from various renowned organizations, including ready-made garment manufacturers, buying houses, audit companies, and consulting firms, attended the session.

During the training, Mr. Alim provided an in-depth understanding of the SA8000 standard, covering its principles, origins, structure, terms, and definitions. Key topics such as living wage calculation, certification methods, and effective internal auditing techniques were also highlighted.

The participants actively engaged in class discussions, individual tasks, case studies, and group exercises, which enabled them to gain practical insights into implementing and auditing this international standard.

The session concluded with the distribution of certificates, marking the successful completion of the training for all participants, along with an evaluation exam to assess their learning outcomes.
